Raid 2

Set several years after the events of the first film, Raid 2 picks up with fearless and principled tax officer Amay Patnaik, now transferred to the quiet desert town of Bhoj in Rajasthan after a long career of disrupting corruption. Assigned his 75th posting, Amay is tasked with a discreet but high-profile investigation into Manohar “Dada” Bhai (Riteish Deshmukh), a beloved political figure admired by the public but suspected of hiding vast illegal wealth. As Amay leads an extensive operation on Dada Bhai's sprawling assets, he surprisingly uncovers nothing—resulting in his immediate suspension. But Amay, known for his unshakable resolve, refuses to give up. With the help of his loyal team and the encouragement of his supportive wife Malini (Vaani Kapoor), he digs deeper into the truth. Eventually, an unexpected ally emerges: Dada Bhai’s own mother, who, after learning the real story, compels her son to face justice. The story closes with the quiet emergence of a new, mysterious figure named Rameshwar “Tauji” Singh, hinting at a more formidable adversary and a potential continuation of Amay’s mission for justice.
